Christmas!

We had such a great Christmas! It was full of fun, food, and family. Perfect! The Morgans came to town for a few days and we had fun playing with them. We went bowling, shopping and just hung out. Molly and Macey played so cute together. One night they were up playing in the toy room and we went to check on them and they had opened all the presents they could reach. It was so funny! There was wrapping paper EVERYWHERE! I wish we would have gotten it on camera.

We were with the Thatchers on Christmas Eve for their traditional pizza and a movie. We opened brother gifts and Kimball gave me an awesome toy box that he made. It looks so great in our house!

On Christmas morning Molly was so thrilled to see that Santa had come to our house! She told me that she heard Santa and his reindeer on our roof. She is at such a fun age. She had so much fun opening all the presents. She helped me, Trev and Laney open ours too! The girls - and us - got so spoiled this year, we sure are lucky!

We had my family to our house for Christmas brunch then we headed up to the Thatcher's to spend the rest of the day with them. It was such a fun, exhausting day.

Molly doesn't really get that Christmas is over for now (she is actually still talking about Halloween too...) She keeps seeing toys that she wants and telling me that Santa will leave them under the tree for her!

Layton Park

A few days before Christmas we went with the Thatchers and their neighbors to see the lights at Layton park. We went on a hayride through the park and it was so fun! Molly sang "jingle bells" and loved pointing out all the animal lights. We had dinner after at Burger Stop and Santa was there! It was such a fun night!

Frontrunner

We've been wanting to try out Frontrunner forever and finally rode it yesterday with my mom and Alster. Molly loved being on the train and had to point out everything that we passed. I think she mostly liked that she didn't have to buckle up! We rode all the way to Provo then went to see Santa at the mall down there. Molly gave him the cutest hug and was thrilled to finally get to sit on his lap and tell him that she wants a "blue toy."

Temple Square

We went down to Temple Square last week with some of the Jensen fam to have dinner and see the lights. It was freezing but so pretty and so fun! Thanks Aunt Lana for getting us all together!

Christmas Stuff

We are having so much fun getting ready for Christmas! Molly is at such a fun age right now. She loves seeing and waving to Santa - or people who look like him - wherever we go. She can't wait to open her presents and is constantly shaking them trying to figure out what they could be, she loves looking at all the decorations and singing Christmas songs. Every time she hears a bell she looks around for reindeer. Laney is such a joy and it's so fun to have her around this year, I just have to be careful so she doesn't accidentally tip over our tree!

We've been pretty good at getting out to do Christmas-y things, but if anyone has some really fun suggestions let me know!

It was nearly impossible to get these two wiggly little girls to smile at the same time for a Christmas card picture but I think it turned out pretty cute!

My Christmas decoration supply is sadly lacking because we've hardly had any room until this year. Oh well, I'm sure we'll collect plenty of stuff in the years to come! I did make some new stockings and a tree skirt though (these are what Trev thinks are too "springy"). At least it manages to make our sad, falling apart tree a little happier looking!

Light Parade

Last week We went up to the Kaysville Light Parade with Trevor's family. Molly had a blast watching Santa come to town and collecting all the candy she could hold. She just yelled "Santa" and "Christmas" the entire time! Needless to say, she's a little excited for Christmas this year!

The girls got fancy new Christmas dresses this year. Trevor thinks they are too spring-y (along with all our other Christmas decorations I guess) but they sure are cute!
