It takes a heap of living in a house to make it home...

Our little family was lucky enough to buy a home! YAY!! We are thrilled to finally be moved in and excited to be first time homeowners.

We closed last week and had a crazy few days painting, cleaning, packing, and moving. Thank you, thank you to everyone who helped us, there's no way we could have moved in already without your help. We picked about the worst time possible to move with me being 8+ months pregnant and Trevor starting his busy season, but it all worked out! It's still a work in progress - and probably always will be - but I thought i'd share some pics of our new place! It still needs some paint and we haven't hung anything on the walls yet, but we're happy with how it's turning out!

Upstairs family room:
Kitchen:
 Living room:
(this room still needs paint)
Main bathroom:
Master bedroom:
Master bathroom:
Molly's room:
(Her room is currently without a bed. We didn't want to set the crib up twice so she's sleeping in the baby's room until we get her a toddler bed)

We've tripled the amount of living space we had and it feels so good to have room to stretch out! We haven't even touched the basement yet and are still amazed at how roomy the house feels.

I'm sure it'll be weeks before we finally feel settled, but we're loving our home so far! The neighborhood is so great. We learned that we live on the "fun street" that has all sorts of block parties. We went from living in a ward with about 35 kids primary age to one that has over 200 so i'm sure Molly will have tons of little friends! We're just excited to be here and feel so lucky!

Michelin Man

Molly is looking so tall and skinny lately. Where did my chubby baby with the Michelin Man arms go?! This next little girl better be just as cute and chunky!

2011 in review

2011 went by so fast. We can't believe it's already over. Our little family had such a fun, busy year! I decided to do a little recap so here are our 2011 highlights in no particular order!...

We went to St. George several times last year. It is such a great little get away and we just love going down there. We went a few times with friends, a few times with family and even once or twice with just our own little fam. It's always so relaxing and so hard to come home!

Molly and I were lucky enough to go to Indiana 3 times this year (Trev went twice). We love going to visit the Dockters and always come back so exhausted from a week of fun!
We got good use out of our zoo pass this year. Molly loves going and seeing all the animals.
Trevor graduated with his Macc in May from the University of Utah - Summa Cum Laude even! Good job Trevie! He started his job in August and is enjoying it so far!
We got to attend several friends weddings this last year (Molly even took her first steps at the Ferrell's wedding!). It's always so fun to go to a sealing and remember our own wedding. Trev's little brother Dallin got married in February and I love having another girl around when we see the Thatchers!
Our Miss Molly Pie turned 1! She is such a fun little bug and makes life so great! We don't know what we ever did without her!
We spent a week with all the Morg-A-Tours in Florida this summer. It was so fun to all be together. Molly especially loved her time with all her cousins!
We found out we're expecting baby girl #2! We feel so lucky and can't wait to meet this little sweetie in less than 2 months!
Trevor competed in a few races this year. I'm always happy to wait for him at the finish line! He completed a half marathon with his personal best time!
We spent lots of time swimming. Molly absolutely loves the water and isn't scared at all. She loves jumping in and doesn't mind going under - hopefully she'll remember that this next summer!
We went to Willow Flats with the Thatchers. It was Molly's first time camping and she had a blast. She was constantly covered in dirt and came home filthy, which is exactly how it should be!
Molly developed a love of dressing up this year. She has dozens of costumes that i'm sure will get good use in years to come!
We had so much fun spending the holidays with both of our families. We're so lucky to see them all so much, even the out-of-towners!
We spent new years down in St. George with some of my family. We had to squeeze in one more trip before the end of 2011! It was beautiful weather and we just enjoyed being outside!

2011 was a great year. Here's to an even better 2012!
