1 Week... Almost!

We are just loving this little Laney bug and can't believe that she'll be a week old tomorrow! She has been a great sleeper and eater. She is such a pleasant little girl and seems to have endless patience for her big sis. Molly and Laney are going to be such cute little friends.

Molly has been the best helper. She always wants to be right by Laney and loves to help burp her and change her diaper (don't worry... she just hands me the wipes!). She asks for the baby first thing each morning and gives her a big kiss whenever she sees her. Molly is such a good sharer so Laney always has plenty of toys with her. Molly also loves to share her cookies and juice with the baby and more than once i've turned around to see Molly trying to pick Laney up or trying to squeeze in the bassinet next to her...!

We've had so much great help with the girls this week and are starting to get the hang of having two kids around! It sure is a lot busier but that just makes life more fun right?!

My Aunt Lana came up the other day to snap some pictures of the girls. Neither were very cooperative but we still managed to get a few good ones!

We love these sweet girls!

Laney Cloe

She's here!!!!
Miss Laney Cloe Thatcher was born at 5:56 pm on Thursday, February 23. She weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. She's a little chunk and we are so in love with her!
She has been the sweetest baby. She has been very patient with her very loving big sister. Molly can't get enough of holding and kissing her. She giggles when she sees her little baby toes and has been great at making sure Laney always has her binky!
We are so thrilled to have our second little baby girl here and can't believe that we are grown up enough to have two kids!

Salt Dough

We took a break from unpacking and cleaning to make a little mess this morning. Poor Molly has done pretty much nothing but watch movies for the past few weeks because we've been so busy moving. She's been so good and patient. Poor girl will probably be watching even more movies in the next few weeks with the baby coming so I thought we better take a break and have some fun! She loved playing with the salt dough and didn't want any help from me!

(This is after tasting it... I guess she wasn't a fan!)
