Kaleidoscope

I have a confession: I love fabric.

I could easily spend all day and hundreds of dollars in a fabric store. I love the cute patterns and bold colors. I also love thinking of all the cute things I could make. Unfortunately for me {and Trev} fabric is expensive. This means that I can only indulge when I have a good reason, like having a new baby!

I made a quilt for Molly and thought I better make one for baby girl #2 as well. I kind of love how it turned out!

I'm so excited to set up baby girl's nursery with this cute quilt! Now to make matching bumper pads, pillows, and a mobile!

Molly is a little goof. She makes us laugh all the time. Last night we heard her in the bathroom and went in to see what she was doing and she had climbed up into the sink! She can climb up anything lately, i'm sure its just a matter of time before she climbs out of her crib. She loves climbing up on the table and eating the gumballs. She also loves climbing on top of the couch, that's one of her new favorite places to hang out. Silly girl! She still loves her purse and takes it with her everywhere. She also loves the laundry basket and will drag it all over the house with books and other toys in it.

GIRL!!!

We're so excited to be having another girl. Her and Molly will play so cute together. We had our 20 week ultrasound this morning and everything looks great! Still due the end of February. Baby girl was in a weird position so we didn't get many great pictures, but here's the proof that she's definitely a she!

Molly and I got to spend all last week in Indiana visiting the Dockters. Our main reason for going out was to meet my newest little nephew, Jake. He is so sweet and we love him so much! Molly loved to give him kisses and said over and over "Hi Jake!"

We love going to Indy. We went to the zoo, the children's museum, picked apples, walked along the canal, and just played. The week went by way too fast! Molly had so much fun playing with Sam and Max, even if she did get beat up a little!

Molly and I went to Gardner Village with some good friends this afternoon. We had lunch and walked around and looked at all their cute halloween decorations. Molly thinks she's so big and can just do whatever she wants, which leads to frequent tantrums when she learns otherwise! (hopefully she grows out of this phase fast!) We still managed to have some fun and enjoy the great weather!

Molly and I have been trying to enjoy being outside before it gets too cold! Molly loves being outside and cries anytime it's time to go back inside. We've been playing with sidewalk chalk and bubbles, going to the park, the zoo, swimming and going on walks and picnics. I know Molly is going to hate being cooped up inside all winter, any ideas on great indoor activities?!

Changes!

Our family has gone through some big changes these last few weeks.

First... Trevor started his job a few weeks ago! He is working for such a great company and it seems to be a great fit so far!

Next... Molly turned 15 months! She definitely isn't a baby anymore. She talks all the time, loves to color, and carries her little purse all around the house. If anything is lost, it's usually hidden in her purse! She's seeming so big and grown up to us lately but I guess that's a good thing because...

We're having another baby!!

We are thrilled to be expecting a little brother or sister for Molly and can't wait for the end of February when he/she will be joining our family!
