Solids

Miss Bug had her first taste of rice cereal the other night. We're hoping that starting her on solids will help put a little meat on her bones! 

I forgot how messy babies can be when they are just learning how to eat - it's even messier when there is a two-year-old begging to help. Oh, this is gonna be fun! 

After Laney's tasty dinner the girls took their first tub together. Molly loved having someone to play with/dump water on. 

Table

Are you sick of home improvement blogposts yet? Well, that's too bad because this is another one!

When we moved into our house we were so excited that we finally had room for a real dining table, until now we'd just been improvising with a desk because our kitchen wasn't big enough. We were lucky enough to get a hand-me-down table for free when we moved in. It was really nice and in great shape, it just needed a little freshening up. I love what a little paint and fabric can do! I'm especially proud of this project because I did it completely by myself, Trev refused to help (I think he's kind of sick of all my projects...). I love how it turned out and I think it makes our house look so bright and airy. Your thoughts?

Ga-loon

Molly, Laney and I went to Lagoon yesterday with some of the Thatchers and their neighbors. It was so much fun. We ended up staying way longer than we had planned because Molly was having such a good time. That girl has no fear. She literally ran from ride to ride and couldn't wait to get on. She went on every ride that she was tall enough for and giggled and screamed "yeehaw" the entire time! I went on a few other rides and realized that i'm totally a "'fraidy-cat mom!" Laney was a little angel the whole day, as usual! It was a great day and I think we will definitely need to invest in some season passes in the future. 

Utah Valley Half

Trev ran the Utah Valley Half Marathon this morning with his brother and a few friends from work. We woke up bright and early to go down with Megan and cheer them on. It was a fun morning and Trev did great! Molly had fun cheering Trev on ("go daddy!") but she especially loved the popsicle he got for her at the finish line! 

Door

We painted our front door and trim this weekend. Such an easy, inexpensive project and it makes a huge difference!

I LOVE it, Trev... does not.
