TWO!

Miss Molly turned TWO on Sunday. Holy cow!! How did she get so big?

We celebrated her birthday with our families on Mother's Day and celebrated again with just us on the actual day. It was perfect that her birthday fell on a Sunday because she got to go to nursery and play with all her little buddies, her favorite thing!

At two years old Molly is:

Hilarious. She has so much personality and constantly makes us laugh.

Emotional. It seems like she is either laughing or crying, there is no middle for her!

Big! Most people who don't know her think that she is three instead of two - partly because she is such a good talker. At her last appointment she was 90% for height and 80% for weight. 

LOUD. She is always talking or singing - at the top of her lungs.

Smart. She learns new things every day and always surprises us with what she picks up on. 

Full of energy. She could run around all day. She loves to dance (not sure where she got that from!) and loves to be outside. She especially loves the water and constantly begs me to put her swimsuit on.

A great bis sis. She adores Laney and loves to hold her and talk to her. She is great at getting Laney to smile. I'm excited for Laney to get a bit bigger so they can actually play!

Hungry! She has a huge appetite and will eat pretty much anything except peas and potatoes. She especially loves cookies, cheese, and any fruit.

Brave. She really has no fear. This is both good and bad!

A great helper. She loves to help me clean, cook, do laundry, grocery shop, and work in the yard! It's nice having her around!

I could go on and on about how much we love our Molly pie. She is such a joy.

Memorial Day

We had such a great long weekend! We spent saturday in Midway at a friends cabin. The boys all went golfing while the girls played with the kids then we had a yummy dinner. Sunday we celebrated Molly's birthday!! I can't believe she is two! Monday we visited my Grandparents at the cemetery then just relaxed and had some friends over for swimming and a bbq. It was a fun, busy weekend and we did not want to get back to real life today!

Kangaroo Zoo

A few days ago we went to Kangaroo Zoo with some friends. It's this little place right by our house with bounce houses, blow up slides, obstacle courses and stuff. Molly was in HEAVEN! It was hard to keep up with her because she was so busy running around the whole time. She was big enough to climb on and do everything by herself so she thought she was pretty cool - this girl has no fear! 

My goal was to get Molly so worn out that she fell asleep on the way home - its about a 45 second drive. 

Success!!

I {Heart} Naptime

It had been awhile since i'd used my silhouette so I decided to get it out this week! Here's my latest little project, some art for Laney's room! I love how it turned out and now just need to decide where to hang it... above the crib, perhaps?!

*Yes, my inspiration came from pinterest, but i'm still giving myself some credit for being creative!

Big Girl

I'm afraid my days of sleeping in are over. Here's why:

Molly is sleeping in a big girl bed now! She absolutely loves it. After we finish our little bedtime routine she rolls over and goes right to sleep until about 6:30 or 7... early!! I guess I can't complain though because that's a pretty normal wake up time for a toddler, it's just not the 8:30 or 9 that i'm used to!

She loves to play on her bed during the day too. We find her in there several times a day reading books or pretending to sleep! Anyone who comes over gets dragged into her room to see her new bed. If you come for a visit, be prepared to climb in bed with Molly to read a few stories!
