Girls Camp!

I spent part of the past week at girls camp and had such a good time! The theme this year was "Daughter's of a King." We stayed down in Mount Pleasant in a cabin. My kind of camping! 

We did so much fun stuff:

Decorated shirts

Went on a "hike"

Had a delicious turkey dinner in Manti

Went to the Mormon Miracle Pageant

Rode four wheelers

Shot guns... A lot!

Ate (too much) good food

Played fun camp games

Crafted

Had some great devotionals

Pulled pranks

Stayed up late talking

etc.

It was such a great time! I love all of our sweet young women and all of the leaders too! I had to miss the last day because Trev went out of town. I was so sad to miss the service project and the testimony meeting. Those are always two of my favorite things at camp! Oh well, there's always next year!

Slip-n-Slide!

This summer is starting out great! Between the splash pad, Cherry Hill, Seven Peaks and our Slip-n-Slide, we are in our swimsuits almost every day! Isn't that how it should be? These little girls of ours love the water and can never have enough. Molly especially loves the Slip-n-Slide and could stay outside playing all day. Anyone want to come over and play with her?!

Trek

Trevor and I were asked to go on our stake's pioneer trek this summer as a ma and pa. I was really excited to go, Trev wasn't! It turned out great though, we both had a really good time. Our "family" was so cute and fun. All the kids did such a good job and grew so much. The theme of Trek was "Stand in Holy Places." That is the youth theme for the entire year.

We called our family "The Achievers" at first, but by the end we were "The Over-Achievers" because we finished and we finished well. Both us and the kids learned that we can do hard things! It was a great experience!

Utah Valley Half

This was Trevor's third year running the Utah Valley Half Marathon. He ran with his brother Dallin and his Dad this year. They all did so great and all beat their goals! It's always fun to go down and watch the runners come in.
